Before You Travel
Check Travel Documents
Ensure your passport, visa, and other ID proofs are valid and accessible. Indian citizens must carry government-approved photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID). Foreign nationals must carlry valid visas unless exempted.
International Travel Requirements
Keep a printed/digital copy of your e-ticket, visa, and vaccination certificates (if applicable). Some countries may still require health declarations or COVID-19 travel updates—check with your airline in advance.

Delhi experiences a variety of beautiful weather throughout the year—from misty winter mornings to refreshing monsoon showers (July–September). During these periods, flight schedules may occasionally shift. For a smooth experience, we recommend checking live flight updates via the Delhi Airport app or website.
Traffic Awareness
Delhi is constantly evolving with infrastructure upgrades to improve city connectivity. During peak hours or weekends, we suggest leaving a little early to enjoy a relaxed journey to the airport.

Security & Baggage Claims

Keep your boarding pass and photo ID ready for entry screening; DigiYatra lanes offer quick, contact-free access for domestic passengers.

Observe liquid and electronics rules at security to speed things up—remove laptops, power banks, and liquids over 100 ml.

What Not to Carry
Prohibited Items
- Follow the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) guidelines for items not permitted in hand baggage, including:
- Liquids over 100ml
- Sharp objects
- Flammable materials
- Power banks over airline-specified capacity

Immigrations & Customs and TTP Fast Track Immigration
- International travellers must clear immigration before baggage claim; Indian and OCI card holders can register and use the Trusted Traveller Programme (TTP) e-gates for a faster exit Know More.

Health & Safety
Masks are optional but recommended in busy areas. Use hand-sanitizer whenever necessary.
Currency & SIM Card
- 24-hour forex counters at departure and arrival hall and ATMs.
- Telecom kiosks sell local SIM cards—just make sure your phone is unlocked for Indian networks.
