What is DigiYatra?
Digi Yatra is an industry-led initiative powered by facial recognition technology to make terminal entry and security clearance seamless, hassle-free, and paperless. Developed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA) and the DigiYatra Foundation, it is the next step towards creating a digitally empowered, contactless travel experience. DigiYatra is a decentralised mobile-based ID storage platform where air travellers can save their IDs and travel documents. Currently available for Domestic passengers at Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.
Who can avail DigiYatra?
Indian citizens of origin with Government issued UHID (Aadhaar Card).

How to Register on the DigiYatra App
Follow these simple steps to get started with the DigiYatra App and enjoy a seamless travel experience at Delhi Airport:
Step 1
Download the DigiYatra App
Get the DigiYatra App by DigiYatra Foundation from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Register using your mobile number and OTP. (Tip: Use the Aadhaar-linked mobile number for a smoother process.)
Step 2
Link Your Identity Credentials
Use DigiLocker or your Aadhaar card to link to your credentials. Verify your Aadhaar details via OTP.
Step 3
Take a Selfie
When prompted, take a selfie with good clarity and upload it to the app.
Step 4
Update Your Boarding Pass
Upload your boarding pass on the DigiYatra app and share it with the departure airport.

Note: Complete all steps in sequence to enjoy the contactless experience.
- Head to the DigiYatra e-gate.
- Look into the camera for facial recognition.
- Once validated, the e-Gate will open, granting you access to the terminal.
